Tool to move out names to external address
complete
Normal guy
It would give users more freedom to have their name on their own hns address for which they have their private keys. Because at the end of the day, we all here because of decentralized nature of handshake. So please build a tool to transfer names out to an external hns address not belonging to namebase.

This is live! You can now withdraw your names to any HNS address by visiting your names' domain manager page and clicking "Transfer domain"

Tieshun Roquerre: is there any status update maybe? :)

Tieshun Roquerre: Please remove the 2 fact authorization step (or update to a more practical implementation like a Yubikey), when transferring names out. I don't like this function and can't be turned off (bummer). Thanks

Tieshun Roquerre: Will this also do the opposite, i.e. transfer names from an external address to namebase, or should there be a separate feature request for this?
Johnny Wu
Erik Jan Meijer: Transferring names from an external address to Namebase is already automated! See here: https://learn.namebase.io/advanced-topics/transferring-entities

Johnny Wu: the first part of the text there says it's manual: "We're currently building a tool to automate Handshake name transfers into Namebase, but for now we can still manually process any name transfers for you"
Edit: I see the text is changed now, thank you!
